Retirement
 Reaching the end of one's working life can be a time of mixed emotions, but reflections over that working life can be embellished with a suitably framed collection of items.
In this framed example, our customer sought to represent the four major components of his time with the Queensland Police by linking photographs with badges and other items worn as part of his uniform.
This is a unique piece for a particular person, but it shows how a person's achievements can be displayed in the family home for family and friends to take an interest in. The challenge in designing a piece like this (apart from the actual layout) is to display the items in such a manner that they can be removed at a later date without any damage having been caused to such items.

Pieces of art by your children deserve to be displayed - they are unique, as tomorrow, who knows what creative image will be transmitted into artwork form!
With the use of bright colours, a framed unit containing your child's work will be admired…. And your child will be encouraged to see their work being admired. Who knows where that talent will lead….

For some reason publishers seem to cutting back on the range of prints by many of our famous Australian artists from bygone eras.

Fading of artworks

Suggestions of things to frame
As custom framers, we are seeing more of the unusual type of item brought in for framing i.e. items that have significance of a place, event or activity in the life of an individual. Invariably, the framed unit is much admired and becomes a focal point of attention in the family home or place of work.
Using some interests as a guide for thinking about what can be framed, consider the following:
 - Advertisements - "Bring back fond memories with nostalgic ads."
- Aviation - "Aviation art is ready to come in for a landing at your house."
- Golf - "celebrate your hole in one, or just dream about one."
- Music - "frame the songs that celebrate your first date, your wedding, or other special events in your life."
- Raid the attic - "are you looking for a new way to personalise your home? If so, raid the attic and frame the memories."
- Scrapbooking - "some scrapbook pages are works of art that shouldn't be confined to a book."
- Travel - "travel the world, frame the memories."
