Newsletter No 11 - Spring 2006
We now have software visualisation!
How often when getting an item framed have you thought, wouldn't it be nice to visualise what it would look like when framed?
Well, with the aid of camera and computerised software package, we can display a computerised image of what your custom framed piece will present like when completed!
We initially work with you to narrow the choice done in what materials to use, but then we display alternative images for you to compare the appearance of the finished product - if you want to see a coloured wall behind the image(s), that can also be displayed! |
School of Philosophy
I recently undertook a short "Philosophy in Business" course at the School of Philosophy in Anne Street, Brisbane (if you are searching for a "love of wisdom" in your life, contact this school for details of courses available).
In talking about the creation of wealth one evening, it was observed that one has to first identify the need for wealth, before an idea can be created to gain wealth.
Your need for custom framing?
Frame Craft can create ideas for art and/or objects you have for framing - as you can see, those ideas can now be displayed for you to view before we do the work.
We are constantly seeking better ways to assist our customers with their framing needs and we look forward to sharing this software visualisation technology with you.
What is conservation?
The framing of art and objects with materials and methods that provide a stable environment and minimises the deterioration of the framed item (synonymous with preservation).
Frame Craft offers a wide range of choices to ensure appropriate materials are used with your art and/or objects.
"You know you're in Australia"
Looking for a gift idea. This is a beautiful little book just released that uses poetry, words and magnificent photographs of our great country - some of the photographs are from the John Rickertt outback photography section on the Frame Craft website (www.framecraft.com.au). The author, Dennis Scanlon has had a lifetime involvement in the Australian pastoral industry, and I liked an anonymous quotation used in the book:
"Life has no lasting interest, without new experiences."
As a custom framing business, we are priviledged to be involved in a business of offering a service where each item framed is a new experience for us.
We look forward to offering that service to you when next you have something to frame
