Box on!
Every now and again, an autographed boxing glove is brought to us for framing. In this example, you can see that the glove has been displayed fully - it is held in place in such away as not to damage the glove
A photograph of Australia's current world champion accompanies the glove signed by Kosta Tszyu.
So once again the custom framing aspect of our business has completed a distinguished memorabilia item that delighted our customer
 It's a dogs life!
A police dog becomes part of his trainer's life and when they depart this mortal life a huge void occurs for both the policeman and his family.
This example displays images of the handler and his dog along with the dogs ID card and collar
A second example of custom framing techniques displaying a group of items for display in the family home

"Ten thoughts about frames" exhibition
This was the title for a recent exhibition held at the Queensland Art Gallery. A few interesting commentaries were noted:
- 99% of art books and products such as postcards reproduce paintings without their frames..
- the popularity of framed prints during the Victorian period was made possible by the repeal of the tax on glass, which reduced framing costs
- frames enhance the illusion of a painting's space and depth
- curtains were sometimes used in the 18th century to cover erotic paintings. Curtains protected paintings from light and dust, and protected viewers from naked subjects
- frames connect our world with the imaginary lives of the paintings
The world may have moved on from the 18th century, but custom framing can still create illusions of space and depth - what have you got for Frame Craft to go to work on?
